...A possible area to be watched and of recent earthquakes: Eldvörp, name of a row of scoria and spatter cones in off-set sections of 10 km, and surrounded by a lava field covering 20 km2. It dates back from a volcano-tectonic episode between 1210 and 1240 called the Reykjanes Fires.
