Around 630 earthquakes were detected last week by the SIL seismic network at the Icelandic Meteorological Office, most of them were a part of a seismic swarm at the island Grimsey ~140 earthquakes, including 11 earthquakes bigger than M2.0. Still some minor activity around Mt. Öræfajökull last week where 50 earthquakes smaller than M1.5 were measured. Similar number of quakes in Bardarbunga volcano where ~50 earthquakes were measured the biggest of which measured M2.8 by the eastern rim. 20 earthquakes were measured in Katla volcano, larges of which measured M2.2.
