"Glaciers in science, art and pictures" is a caption of new photo shows, which will be opened on Friday, January 26th, at Háskólatorg, in Tröðin. The exhibition will last for four weeks, ie. until 23 February. The photographs on the exhibition are by Snævarr Guðmundsson, a glacial geologist and Þorvarður Árnason, environmentalist and director of the Research Center of the University of Iceland at Höfn in Hornafjördur. The exhibition focuses on Icelandic glaciers, and focuses on graphical recording of the effects of global climate change on glaciers and their beauty and majesty.
